سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Sub7aan Al-lawhi wa bi 7amdih

VIRTUE: Whoever recites this one hundred times in the morning and in the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone having done better than this except for someone who had recited it more. [Source: Al-Bukhari 4/2071]

Whoever recites this hundred times, will have his sins forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.” [Source: Al-Bukhari 6405, Muslim 2691]

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
‘Astaghfir-ul-lawha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayh

VIRTUE: Whosoever insists on istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) Allah makes for him out every worry a relief and from every tight situation a way out. [Source: Al-Bukhari, cf. Al-Asqalani, Fathul-Bari 11/101, Muslim 4/2075. Also mentioned in Abu Dawud] 
Recite 1 time after Fajr and Asr prayers
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ, خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ, وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ, أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ, أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ, وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْت
Allawhum-ma ‘Anta Rab-bee laa ‘ilaaha ‘il-laa ‘Anta, khalaq-tanee wa ‘ana 3abduka, wa ‘anaa 3alaa 3ahdika wa wa3dika masta-tta3tu, ‘a3oothu bika min shar-ri maa Sana3tu, ‘aboo’u laka bini3matika 3alay-ya, wa ‘aboo’u bithambee faghfir lee fa-‘in-nahu laa yagh-firuth-thunooba ‘il-laa ‘Ant

You created me and I am your slave. I keep Your covenant, and my pledge to You so far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I admit to Your blessings upon me, and I admit to my misdeeds. Forgive me, for there is none who may forgive sins but You.   

VIRTUE: Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise, (as long as they avoid major sins) [Source: Al-Bukhari 7/150. Other reports are in An-Nasa’i and At-Tirmithi]Al-Bukhari 4/2071.]  
Recite 10 times after Fajr and Asr prayers
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّد
Allawhum-ma Sal-li wa sal-lim 3alaa nabiy-yinaa Mu7ammad

VIRTUE: The prophet (ﷺ) said: “Who recites blessings upon me 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening will obtain my intercession on the Day of Resurrection.” [Source: At-Tabrani reported this Hadith together with two chain of transmissions. One of them is reliable (Jayyid). See Haithami’s Majma’ Az-Zawa’id 10/120, and Al-Albani’s Sahih At-Targhib Wat-Tarhib 1/273]
Recite 3 times after Fajr and Asr prayers
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيم
Bismil-laahil-lathee laa yaDur-ru ma3as-mihi shay’un fil-‘arDi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa Huwas-Samee3ul- 3Aleem

VIRTUE: Whoever recites it three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity before evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be overtaken by any calamity before morning. Another narration “…nothing will harm him. [Source Al-Bukhari 4/2071]
Recite 7 times after Fajr and Asr prayers
حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
7asbiyal-lawhu laa ‘ilaaha ‘il-laa Huwa 3alayhi tawak-kaltu wa Huwa Rab-bul-3Arshil-3Adtheem

VIRTUE: Whoever says this seven times in the morning or evening, Allah will take care of their worries and concerns in this world and the next. [Source: Ibn As-Sunni (no. 71), Abu Dawud 4/321. Both reports are attributed directly to the Prophet Peace be upon him (Marfu3). The chain of transmission is sound (Sahih). Ibn As-Sunni’]

رَضِيتُ باللهِ رَبَّاً, وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً, وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَى اللهُ عليه وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيَّا وَرسولا  
RaDeetu bil-laahi Rab-baa, wa bil-‘Islaami deenaa, wa bi-Mu7am-madin (SalAllawhu 3alayhi wa sal-lama) Nabiy-yan wa rasoolaa

VIRTUE: Allah has made it a right upon himself that anyone who says this three times every morning or evening will be pleased on the Day of Resurrection. [Source: Ahmad 4/ 337, An-Nasa’i, ‘Amalul-Yawm wal-Laylah p. 4, Ibn As-Sunni (no. 68), At-Tirmithi 5/465. Its chain of transmission is good (Hasan), Ibn Baz, p. 39]

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ, عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ, وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ, وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِه
Sub7aan Allawhi wa bi-7amdihee: 3adada khalqihee, wa riDaw nafsihee, wa zinata 3arshihi wa midaada kalimaatih

VIRTUE: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught his wife, Juairiyah bint al-Harith, that reciting this brief thikr brings great rewards surpassing that of reciting other thikr for much longer periods of time. [Source: Muslim 4/2090]
